Dance Production is a weekly class/rehearsal where we create a danced

version of a famous story to be performed at our annual Recital in

June.  It is an "add-on" class for currently enrolled students, ages 6+

- and is a highlight of our season!!!

 

2024 Production class begins Thursday, January 11, 2024,  6-7 p.m. 

*Some additional rehearsals may be held on Monday, 6:45-7:30 p.m. for

teen groups.

 

Production dates are 1-11-24 thru 6-01-24.

 

Our first class will meet on 1-11-24 and will include a discussion of which

story we have chosen and what roles are available for cast members. 

It is important for everyone who enrolls or is interested in enrolling to

attend!

 

Enrolled dancers should plan to attend each Thursday 6-7 p.m. class in

January.  We will assign roles, learn our Finale' dance and select

costumes.  We will release a "rehearsal schedule" toward the end of

January, which will outline when dancers need to attend.  Not all

dancers will be required every single week until we have all learned our

parts.  Everyone should plan to attend any rehearsal that calls for "ALL

CAST."  After Spring Break in April, the entire cast will meet all

together each Thursday night.

This production will be performed at our annual Recital on June 2, 2024, 

1 p.m. and 6 p.m. @ Poway Center for the Performing Arts.

 

Separate costume fees apply for Production.  Add-on monthly tuition for production class is $50 p/dancer, January thru June, plus a one-time $40 materials fee.
